The Throw It Up and Inception brands come together to present an all-night showcase of some of the finest unearthed talents in house and techno at Shelter Club, London
On Saturday 25th November, both Throw It Up and Inception will join forces to exhibit some of the great emerging talents in the underground, with these names mixing it up with residency artists of the two event brands also performing on the night. The Throw It Up project was initially launched back in January of 2016 by East Recordings and Brick Lane Radio and the event brand hasn’t looked back seeing over 20 releases become chart hits on Traxsource and Juno. The crew host bi-monthly club nights across the East of London and previous parties have been held at the likes of Bedroom bar, Hoxton Basement and Shoreditch Platfom. This time round Throw It Up are inviting the TBR: Inception crew to host the basement of Shelter Club, seeing Mark Twins with Martire Cristiana in a B2B performance, Carlos Estrada in an individual display and David Alcañiz B2B Koseki rounding off proceedings.
In room one the accomplished Throw It Up residents, Caramen and Pablo Del Monte will bring their flare and lucid-flow to the party. Caramen, best known for his driving basslines and strong emphasis on sonic progression, paying attention to the fine details of the mix will be a joy to watch. Pablo Del Monte, label boss of East Recordings and head of Brick Lane Radio is a versatile producer with releases on a multitude of genres ranging from deep house through to techno but one thing is key for Pablo, all of his tracks aim to share that ‘House is a feeling’ vibe, regardless of the genre they may hold.
The pair are joined by Kim Roman, a name that’s generated a lot of buzz in the short space of time he’s been releasing tracks. Having released his debut single ‘Tomorrow‘ on Seven Villas at the tailend of the summer, he’s gone on to perform on Ibiza Global Radio, coinciding with a string of performances supporting the likes of Hot Since 82 and most recently, John Digweed at the impressive Concorde 2 in Brighton. Expect Kim to showcase a minimalist flow inspired by the foundations of house, techno and dub – his output will aim to display emotive tones intertwined with a set of core percussive elements keeping the crowd positively mesmerised.
